Director of Athletics/Head Soccer Coach- Amy Olson
Amy Olson is in her third year at Trinity University. She spent the last two years as Assistant Director of Athletics/Sports Information Director. Olson started her career at Prairie View A&M University where she helped start up their soccer program. Olson went on to be the Head Soccer Coach for four years at South Carolina State University and two years as Head Soccer Coach at Southwest Minnesota State University where she also taught as an Assistant Professor in the Wellness and Human Performance Department. Olson has also coached soccer for the Olympic Development Program in both South Carolina and Minnesota. While in Minnesota, she was the Director of Coaching for the Marshall United Soccer Association in 2010.
Olson has a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Howard University and a Master’s of Education from Prairie View A&M University. While at Howard, Amy started all four years for the women’s varsity soccer team, receiving All-Big South and All-Big South Academic honors.
Olson has participated in the NCAA Career and Sports Forum as a Facilitator, is a graduate of the NCAA Coaches Academy, is a member of the Black Coaches Committee, NSCAA, NACWAA, and holds a United States Soccer Federation ‘C’ coaching license.
