Head Athletic Trainer- Seanta Cleveland
Seanta Cleveland has recently joined the Trinity Washington University Athletics Staff as Head Athletic Trainer. Before joining the Tiger’s staff, Seanta served as the Head Athletic Trainer for the Atlanta Dream WNBA for the 2015 season. Prior to that Seanta Cleveland served as the Director of Sports Medicine at Howard University as well as serving on various committees at the university. Ms. Cleveland’s resume’ has a wide range of experience including Head Athletic Trainer at Bowie State University in Bowie (MD) (2010-2011), The Team HEAL Foundation, Inc., founded by Orthopedic Surgeon, Dr. Clarence Shields, at (Crenshaw High School) in Los Angeles (CA) (2008-2010), Athletes’ Performance in Carson (CA) in (2008), Licensed Athletic Trainer for Covenant Sports Medicine (2006-2008) in Lubbock (TX) and Graduate Assistant at South Plains College (2006-2007) in South Plains (TX). Seanta also served as an Approved Clinical Instructor (ACI) for Loyola Marymount College in Los Angeles (CA) (2009-2010) and George Mason University (VA) (2012-2015) and is currently a BLS American Red Cross Instructor, a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association, a member of the District of Columbia Athletic Trainers Association and a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.
Seanta Cleveland holds both a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and Health from Georgia State University (2006) and a Master of Athletic Training degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (2008).
