Washington, DC- The Trinity Washington University women’s volleyball team earned its second home win of the season Thursday night with a thrilling 3-2 victory over Washington Adventist University.

The Tigers won the first and third sets 25-14 and 25-17 respectively and then clinched the win in the fifth set of the match, winning 25-16 15-9.

Kenna Brooks earned nine kills, 24 attacks and three serve aces. Whitney Wasso tallied seven kills, 18 attacks and six digs while Junior captain Shaundene Peart posted five kills, 26 attacks, three serve aces and nine digs.

The Tigers return to play October 21st at Valley Forge.
