Tigers Sweep Washington Adventist University

Washington, DC-  The Trinity Washington University volleyball team got their first victory of the season beating Washington Adventist University 3-0.

Sophomore Sarai Burnett led the team with seven assists, four aces, five digs, five kills, and earned a hitting percentage of .237.  Freshman India Richey added five kills and tallied a .59 hitting percentage.

The Tigers dominated the first and the third games.  The shock put up a fight in the second set, but the Tigers still held them to 20.

The Tigers return to the court on Thursday playing a tri-match with MACU and Central Penn.  The first match is set to begin at 12:00pm.
