Trinity Student-Athletes Participate in Making Strides Against Breast Cancer
Washington, DC- The student-athletes rose early Sunday morning to participate in the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk. The Tiger Athletics team raised $500 for the cause.
Many of the student-athletes have been impacted by breast cancer in some way or another. Freshman Brenda Alonso, from the soccer team stated “it was very inspiring to see so many people from so many different walks of life all joining together for a great cause.”
The Tigers will be hosting two breast cancer awareness games this October. Volleyball will be dedicating their October 18th game, and soccer their October 24th game.
