Student Athlete of the Week

ablaTrinity sophomore Abla Alodjinou, native of Gaithersburg, MD via Togo Africa, is a Trinity duel athlete (soccer and softball).  Abla is studying Criminal Justice in hopes of becoming a lawyer or to work with the CSI as a detective.

 

Q: Who is your favorite super hero? Why?

A: Superman! He can fly.  He is cute, and he SAVES THE WORLD!!!

Q: What is you class your favorite class at Trinity?

A: My favorite class is Criminal Justice 101.  I want to be a lawyer, and the topics that we cover in class are so interesting and intriguing.  Everything I learn in this class is fresh and new. It inspires me to try and make a difference by applying it to my everyday life.

Q: Who would you consider a mentor?

A: My friends Izzy, Paige, Kyla, and Keesha have been my mentors. When I first got here these guys took me under their wing and taught me that what you put in is what you get.  PLUS, those guys have made my college experience amazing.

Q: What is your favorite midnight snack?

A: (In a high pitch voice) I LOOOOOOOOOVVVVEE PEANUT M&M’s!

Q: What is your favorite part about being a Trinity student-athlete?

A: I would have to say stepping out on the field, playing my heart out. Knowing team is my family and that they have my back.  The amazing support from the fans is also great.

Q: Who has been the biggest influence in your life?

A: My twin brother Koami.  He is my other half; we pretty much do everything together.  He is the one person I can truly depend on to pick me up when I am down.  He knows me the best!

Q: What is your dream job?

A: My dream job is to be a professional soccer player!  If that doesn’t work out, a detective with CSI or a Lawyer.

Q: What is something you enjoy doing in your leisure-time?

A: I like to study, sleep, party and hang out with my friends.
