TIGERS LOSE IN CONFERENCE PLAY
The Trinity basketball team hit the road Tuesday night for a conference game against Mary Baldwin College. A sluggish start put the Tigers behind 9-0 in the first three minutes of play. The team rallied but fell short at half-time, trailing 34-32.
The second half saw the Tigers take the lead by 4 points, but they could not hang on as Mary Baldwin defeated Trinity 80-64. Lauren Hall led the Tigers with 21 points followed by Shereese Russell with 15. The Tigers fall to 2-2 in the conference and 5-7 overall. The Tigers play at the College of Notre Dame on Thursday at 7 pm.
